Game Armbands - $5 for two
Tunka Patches
1/8/05 - NEW! - Buy an armband online
and receive it by mail! FREE Shipping
Because these armbands are custom made, they are not available
anywhere else. It is recommended that you order your armband
set online a week ahead of any games you'd like to participate.
Armbands should arrive within 2-3 days in the Boulder area.
The cost is $5 for two, in which one is red and the other
lime, and they are yours to keep and bring to future games.
If you already purchased these, be sure to bring them to
the next game you attend. Otherwise, bring $5 to the game
to buy a set.
These arm bands are custom made out of velcro and a buckle
with ultrasonic welds. They are rugged yet comfortable to
wear. Because they are made of a plastic like material, you
should have no trouble washing them to remove any paintball
fill. The best part is that they have a buckle which makes
it super easy for you to put on the arm band yourself and
tighten as necessary during the game.
Be sure to carry both armbands on your person as you may
need to switch teams time to time to even the teams out.
Please note that these armbands are not required
to play. However, they will save you time and money
in the long run over colored tape. Furthermore, colored tape
sometimes ends up as litter on the fields. If you prefer to
bring your own tape, please be sure to bring 2 inch lime and
red tape. Alternatively, you can bring a 2 inch cloth armband
(like a rag armband) in lime and red.
How To Use These
Each team uses one of these armbands at a time. However,
they are always used in the same manner.
Red = Right
arm
Lime = Left
arm
Red arm band is always on the right arm. And lime colored
arm bands are always on the left.
The Reason Why: The reason to use these
armbands on the designated arm is because you can figure out
which team the player is on if you only see one arm at a time.
- Example #1
- You see a player's left arm only and there is no arm
band of any color. Which team is the player on?
- Red because red team has the armband on the right
arm which explains why you don't see an armband
on the left.
- Example #2
- You see a player's right arm only and no arm band
of any color. Which team is the player on?
- Lime because the lime team has an armband only
on left arm. Therefore, you don't see an armband
on the right.
- If you see this player's left arm with a Lime armband,
then which team is this player on?
