Kelly Dahl is about 25 minutes away from downtown Boulder.
Kelly Dahl is about 3.5 miles south of Nederland
Kelly Dahl is a camping ground which is closed in the winter.
Behind the camp ground is an extensive piece of national forest
with lots of flat areas with southerly exposure (great for
winter as the snow melts fast)

From Boulder
- From Boulder take Canyon Blvd west into the Rockies to
Nederland (about 20 mins).
- From Nederland take 119 South approximatelly 3.5 mi and
look for the first pond/lake on the right 100 feet (approx)
from the road (pond is about 500 feet wide)
- Kelly Dahl's entrance is on the opposite side of the road
from the pond. There's a gate there that is usually closed
during winter. Park next to the gate and walk into the field
(it's best that you take your gear with you)
- Be sure to NOT play in the camp ground (remember the firearm
rule). Behind the camp ground there's pleanty of open land
